ONDEM 4MG TABLET

Description

ONDEM 4MG TABLET is used to provide relief from sensation of nausea and vomiting. It contains a medicine called Ondansetron which is an anti-emetic medicine. It reduces the nausea and vomiting sensation by blocking the vomiting centres of the brain.

Before taking ONDEM 4MG TABLET, inform your doctor if you have severe constipation, heart or liver problems, imbalance with the levels of salts in the blood, such as potassium, sodium and magnesium or if you have been scheduled for any surgery.

Consult your doctor before taking ONDEM 4MG TABLET if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

The dose of ONDEM 4MG TABLET will depends on the age, body weight and disease condition of your child. Dosage adjustment is not required in elderly patients, hence consult your doctor before taking ONDEM 4MG TABLET.

Uses

• Chemotherapy or Radiation therapy induced nausea and vomiting
  Chemotherapy is the use of medicines to destroy cancer cells. It usually works by keeping the cancer cells from growing, dividing, and making more cells. Radiation therapy (also called radiotherapy) is a cancer treatment that uses high-energy radiation to destroy cancer cells. Ondem 4 MG Tablet is used to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with chemotherapy or radiation therapy.
• Post operative nausea and vomiting
  Postoperative nausea or vomiting is the feeling of being sick after a surgical procedure. Ondem 4 MG Tablet may also be used to prevent nausea and vomiting associated with surgeries.
