Dr. Morepen Gluco One test strips are designed for the quantitative measurement of glucose levels in fresh capillary whole blood. They are intended for in vitro diagnostic use (outside the body) and are widely used for monitoring blood sugar levels at home or in clinical settings.

General Usage Directions

1. Wash and thoroughly dry your hands before beginning the test.

2. Insert a new test strip into the glucometer. The meter will turn on automatically.

3. Use a sterile lancet and lancing device to obtain a small drop of blood from the side of your fingertip.

4. Gently touch the blood drop to the designated edge of the test strip. The strip will automatically draw the blood in via capillary action.

5. Wait the required 5 seconds for the result to display on the screen.

Storage and Precautions

• Single-Use: Test strips are strictly for one-time use. Never reuse a strip.

• Storage Conditions: Store the vial in a cool, dry place between 4°C and 30°C. Do not refrigerate or freeze them, and keep them away from direct sunlight.

• Moisture Protection: Always recap the vial tightly and immediately after removing a test strip to protect the remaining strips from environmental humidity.

• Expiration: Never use strips past the expiration date printed on the box. Once a new vial is opened, the strips should typically be used within 3 to 6 months (always refer to the specific package insert for exact open-vial expiry guidelines).
