DESCRIPTION
Stemetil MD Tablet belongs to a class of medications called phenothiazines, used to treat nausea, vomiting, and dizziness due to various causes. It is also indicated in the treatment of schizophrenia, mania, vertigo, inner ear problems such as Meniere’s Syndrome or labyrinthitis, and short-term anxiety, in addition to other medicines.
Stemetil MD Tablet contains Prochlorperazine maleate, which works by inhibiting the effect of the natural chemical in the brain (dopamine), thereby helping treat nausea and vomiting.
In some cases, Stemetil MD Tablet may cause side effects, including drowsiness, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and hypotension. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and typically resolve on their own over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Works
STEMETIL MD 5MG TABLET works by balancing the chemicals called dopamine and serotonin (which allow communication between nerve cells) and helps to manage mental illness. It also blocks the action of a chemical called dopamine (which transfers messages to a part of the brain called the vomiting center, which triggers nausea and vomiting) in the brain. Thus, it helps to manage nausea and vomiting effectively.
How to use
Take STEMETIL MD 5MG TABLET as advised by your doctor. Swallow STEMETIL MD 5MG TABLET with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of medicine for you depending upon your age, body weight, and disease condition.
