Sompraz IT Capsule SR is a combination medicine used to treat gastroesophageal reflux disease (Acid reflux). It woks by relieving the symptoms of acidity such as heartburn, stomach pain, or irritation. It also neutralizes the acid and promotes easy passage of gas to reduce stomach discomfort.
Sompraz IT Capsule SR is taken without food in a dose and duration as advised by the doctor. The dose you are given will depend on your condition and how you respond to the medicine. You should keep taking this medicine for as long as your doctor recommends. If you stop treatment too early your symptoms may come back and your condition may worsen. Let your healthcare team know about all other medications you are taking as some may affect, or be affected by this medicine.

Works
SOMPRAZ IT CAPSULE is a combination of Esomeprazole and Itopride, where Esomeprazole suppresses stomach acid secretion by specific blockade of the proton pump at the secretory surface of the stomach cell and Itopride that blocks certain enzyme to increase the stomach motility, lower sphincter pressure of food pipe, stomach emptying and improve the stomach-intestine coordination. This kind of action provides relief from the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD)
How to use
Take SOMPRAZ IT CAPSULE as advised by your physician. Swallow the medicine with a glass of water. Do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose and duration of SOMPRAZ IT CAPSULE for you depending upon your age, body weight and severity of the condition.
