DESCRIPTION

Omez 20mg Capsule is a medication primarily used to manage acid reflux, stomach ulcers, and other gastrointestinal problems. It contains the active ingredient Omeprazole, a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that reduces stomach acid production.

Omez 20mg Capsule is most effective when taken an hour before a meal, ideally in the morning. The dosage will vary based on your condition and how you respond to the medication. It is important to continue taking it as prescribed, even if your symptoms improve quickly. To enhance the management’s effectiveness, consider eating smaller, more frequent meals and avoiding caffeinated drinks (such as tea and coffee) as well as spicy or fatty foods.

Common side effect of this medication includes headache, diarrhea, stomach pain, nausea, vomiting and flatulence. These symptoms are usually mild, but if they persist or become bothersome, it is advisable to consult your doctor. Prolonged use of this medication may increase the risk of side effects.
