Clotrimazole works by damaging the cell membrane of the fungus. It inhibits the synthesis of a substance called ergosterol, which is a vital component of the fungal cell membrane. This disruption causes the cell’s contents to leak out, ultimately killing the fungus and treating the infection.

MYCODERM-C POWDER is prescribed for the treatment and prevention of:

• Athlete’s foot: A fungal infection of the feet, often between the toes.
• Ringworm: A contagious fungal infection that causes a red, itchy, and circular rash.
• Jock itch: A fungal infection in the groin or buttock area.
• Fungal nappy rash: Rashes in infants caused by a fungal infection.
• Fungal sweat rash: Rashes that occur in skin folds due to excess moisture and sweat.
• Other skin irritations: It helps to relieve itching, redness, and irritation caused by fungal infections.

Application and Dosage
