Description
This medication is an antigout drug. It’s active ingredient is febuxostat. It is used to treat lower hyperuricemia (high uric acid in the blood). Gout is a common and complex form of arthritis that occurs when too much uric acid crystallises and deposits in the joints, resulting in sudden, severe attacks of pain
Uses
Febumac 40 tablets are used in the treatment of chronic hyperuricemia (elevated uric acid levels in the blood), where such deposition has already occurred in conditions like gouty arthritis.
