Description
Dytor Plus 5 tablet is a diuretic medicine also known as a water pill. It contains a combination of torsemide and spironolactone as its active ingredients. It is used for the treatment of oedema (swelling due to excess fluid in the body) in various conditions such as liver cirrhosis, heart failure, kidney-related disorders and certain cases of high blood pressure.
Dytor Plus works by eliminating the excess water and salt from the body. Take Dytor Plus 5 tablet as advised by your doctor in the doses and duration it is prescribed for. Inform your doctor if you have any liver, kidney, or cardiac problems before using Dytor Plus 5 tablet.
Uses
Dytor Plus is used for the treatment of oedema is associated with liver cirrhosis, congestive heart failure, kidney-related disorders and some cases of high blood pressure.
Contraindications

If you are allergic to torsemide, spironolactone or any other components of Dytor Plus tablet.

If you are unable to pass urine or have low blood pressure.

If you have any liver, kidney or heart-related disorders.

If you are pregnant or you think you may be pregnant or are breastfeeding.

If you are currently on antibiotics like streptomycin, gentamicin or one of the cephalosporin class of medicines.

If your kidneys are damaged due to some medication in past.

If you are diagnosed with high potassium levels in the blood or are already taking a water pill (medicine like eplerenone) that retains potassium.
