MAHACEF CV 200MG TABLET

DESCRIPTION

MAHACEF CV 200MG TABLET is a combination of Cefixime and Clavulanic acid, which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial infections of the ear, nose, throat, respiratory tract (bronchus, lungs), urinary tract, and genital tract. It can also be used in the management of typhoid fever.

A bacterial infection can be defined as the proliferation of various harmful strains of bacteria within the body. They can affect any part(s) of the body, including the respiratory tract, urinary tract, reproductive tract, eyes, ears, skin, soft tissue, or bones

Uses

It is used in adults and in children (aged 10 years or above) to manage bacterial infections such as:

• Ear infections (Ex. otitis media)
• Throat infections (such as tonsillitis and pharyngitis)
• Respiratory tract infections (such as bronchitis and pneumonia)
• Urinary tract infections (such as cystitis, cystourethritis, and pyelonephritis)
• Genital tract infections (such as gonorrhoea)
• Typhoid fever
