Description
Pan 40 tablet is used to treat stomach ulcers, gastroesophageal reflux disease, heartburn, and oesophagus inflammation-related conditions. It works by reducing stomach acid production by blocking or inhibiting a pump called the proton pump, which is responsible for stomach acid secretion. This helps relieve acidity, promote the healing of ulcers, and reduce acid reflux. For best results, take Pan 40 tablet on an empty stomach.
The most common side effects of this medicine are nausea, vomiting, headache, dizziness, flatulence, diarrhoea, and stomach pain. While these symptoms are typically mild, it’s important to consult your doctor if they persist or become bothersome.
Prolonged use of Pan 40 tablet. It’s advisable to discuss preventive measures for bone loss (osteoporosis) with your doctor, such as taking calcium and vitamin D supplements.
