Directions for Use

Power On: Press the power button next to the LCD screen. A brief self-test beep will sound, and the screen will show the last recorded measurement before clearing.

Placement: Place the flexible probe tip securely at the chosen site:

Oral: Under the tongue, deep back into the heat pockets. Keep the mouth closed.

Axillary: Deep in the center of a dry underarm; hold the arm tightly against the chest.

Rectal: Used primarily for infants; lubricate the tip with water-soluble jelly before a gentle insertion.
