Description
Telma 40 tablet is a blood pressure-lowering medicine used to treat high blood pressure. Its active ingredient is telmisartan, which helps reduce the chances of heart disease, stroke, or death in high-risk patients.
Telma 40 works by blocking the action of certain natural substances responsible for narrowing blood vessels. This helps reduce pressure inside blood vessels and allows the heart to pump efficiently. Your doctor will decide the dose, frequency, and duration of the treatment; take this medicine regularly.
You should avoid Telma 40 if you have kidney problems, diabetes, or severe liver issues. Alcohol can significantly increase the risk of low blood pressure when taken with Telma 40. This medication may cause dizziness or tiredness. Do not drive if you feel these effects. If you are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking Telma 40.
