t. It stops the growth of bacteria, thus preventing the spread of infection. Paraxin Capsule should not be used in children below 18 years of age. Pregnant or breastfeeding women should avoid. Paraxin Capsule should not be used to treat viral infection. Take the medicine at the prescribed dose for the prescribed duration to gain optimal benefits. You may experience nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, dizziness after taking the medicine. If these symptoms worsen, inform the doctor or visit a nearby hospital or clinic immediately. Works
Chloramphenicol is a semi-synthetic antibiotic. It diffuses through the bacterial cell wall and binds to the ribosome of the bacteria, thereby managing the formation of bacterial protein consequently leading to inhibition of cell growth and cell lysis, resulting in suppressing the growth of bacteria.
How to use
Always take this medicine as directed by your physician. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a plenty of water and do not crush or chew the medicine. Your doctor will decide the correct dose for you depending upon your age, body weight and disease condition.
