ODOXIL 500 MG TABLET

DESCRIPTION

ODOXIL 500MG TABLET contains Cefadroxil which belongs to the group of medicines called Antibiotics. It is used to manage bacterial infections in both adults and in children (weighing more than 40 kg). It can be used in the management of various bacterial infections affecting the throat, upper part of the respiratory tract, skin and soft tissues and the urinary tract.

A bacterial infection can be defined as a proliferation of various harmful strains of bacteria in the body. They can affect any part(s) of the body including the respiratory tract, urinary tract, eyes, ears, skin, soft tissue or bones.

ODOXIL 500MG TABLET is effective in managing bacterial infections affecting different parts of the body including the respiratory tract, urinary tract, throat and skin and soft tissues.

ODOXIL 500MG TABLET must be taken with meals to avoid unwanted gastrointestinal side effects. Make sure to complete the full course of management with ODOXIL 500MG TABLET without any interruption. Do not miss a dose or stop taking ODOXIL 500MG TABLET without consulting your doctor as it may lead to growth of harmful bacteria within the body which cannot be further controlled by ODOXIL 500MG TABLET.

Uses

It is used to manage the following bacterial infections in adults and in children (weighing more than 40 kg):

• throat infections (such as pharyngitis and tonsillitis)
• respiratory infections (such as pneumonia)
• urinary tract infections (such as cystitis or pyelonephritis)
• skin and soft tissue infections (such as abscesses, furunculosis, impetigo, erysipelas, pyoderma, lymphadenitis)
